Volunteer at the Carousel

Volunteer Opportunities

Are you looking for a fun place to donate your time and talent?

We have openings for volunteers who want to create happiness, smiles and memories each time they enter the carousel.

As a nonprofit organization, the only way our carousel can can spin is with lots of fun-loving people like you. The more volunteers we have, the more hours we can open the carousel to the public.

We are growing and are in need of regular volunteers to join the carousel team. We’re looking for individuals who can commit to at least one 3-hour shift once per month, especially between on weekends and holidays. During these shifts, you’ll help our visitors experience smiles, joy, laughter and create memories that will last for a lifetime.

You don’t have to make a big time commitment, either. Just pick the days and times that work for you. Signing up for shifts is easy, too with our computer software you can access from anywhere. Shifts typically last 2.5-3 hours. Training and mentoring are provided along with some pretty cool perks like free carousel rides, bottled water, popcorn and fun goodies throughout the year like rodeo and hockey tickets. A background check is required of all volunteers before their first shift and once every four years.

Read about the different roles below. We hope to have you join the carousel team very soon!
